Letter: Patty Judge not worthy of a vote

All of us pay taxes, whether on clothing, telephone, furniture or on our taxable income. None of us want our tax money used to take the life of an innocent child either before or after he or she is born. The Hyde Amendment was passed by Congress in 1973 assuring us that our tax dollars would not pay for abortions through the Medicaid program. Abortion is the taking of an innocent child’s life.

Now, we have a former nurse, Patty Judge, running for the Senate, who wants Iowa taxpayers to fund abortion on demand. Judge supports the Democrat platform and supports Hillary Clinton’s plan to repeal the long-standing Hyde Amendment and publicly stated so in a recent interview on KCCI.

Judge is not worthy of anybody’s vote in the election. Sen. Chuck Grassley has a record of being an anti-abortion champion and his leadership on the Senate Judiciary Committee is essential in overturning the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in the first place.
