Letter: Nation has become more polarized

What has happened to that wonderful nation created by our Founders?

In November, the political party that lost citizen support from the vast majority of states reacts with character assassination. Woefully, these so-called representatives of the people act like naughty children who did not get their way. The tragic result is increased polarization.

For the past eight years the IRS, along with our military, our intelligence organizations, and the Justice Department have become politicized. Consequently, the American people expressed their desire for change.

Our president’s productive aptitude and his desire to make America great again are ignored by these deceitful adversaries who place their defeated party above country with unfounded innuendos, lies and self-serving resentment.

When politicians resort to character assassination, in lieu of working for the people, our nation is weakened. Obviously, the voters exhibited a sharper national focus than those who are supposed to represent them.
