Letter: It's time for new leadership in Cedar Rapids

I’m in shock that the proposal for downtown that is being recommended includes another downtown hotel. Since this location may get $23 million in tax advance financing, I wonder what the utilization rate is on the hotel that the City of Cedar Rapids taxpayers are paying for now.

Just another way our “city elected” may have hoodwinked us “real taxpayers.” It’s time for a “real change,” don’t you think?
