A proposed Clean Power Plan cuts carbon pollution from power plants 30 percent by 2030.
This should be a priority. Carbon pollution in the air is a risk to health. It leads to diminished lung function, more asthma attacks, and more premature deaths. These health problems are greater for children.
As a grandparent of grandchildren with asthma, who do not have a family history of asthma or other lung problems, this plan seems to me a priority.
If the public was more aware perhaps this Clean Power Plan could be enacted sooner than 2030.
