Cindy Golding, former Linn County GOP chairwoman, states the inauguration was “extremely positive and hopeful,” “a life-changing event.”
After reading a text of the speech, phrases such as “American carnage,” “mothers and children trapped in poverty,” “rusted-out factories scattered like tombstones,” I’m wondering if we’re talking about the same event.
Maybe she was confused and meant the Women’s March on Washington, D.C. Her descriptive terms describe that day accurately.
