Hold elected officials accountable

When we elect someone, and they swear to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. It is not to represent their own party or partisan interest. It is to represent all people no matter the party, no matter the race, religion, politics or any other diverse orientation. This is a solemn oath to all citizens.

We do not have that now. We have elected representatives, often in office because of gerrymandering, representing only their base and the money interests that perk them. This is destroying the constitutional republic that our elected representatives are sworn to protect.

We citizens must not turn on one another, as that divides us. We must hold all elected representatives at every level accountable to the rule of law. We must require honesty and transparency so that the interests of our nation, our state, our county our cities and towns, come before the person elected.
