A two-vehicle accident at the intersection of southbound Highway 30 and Honey Grove Road has caused non-life threatening injuries to one driver, according to a news release from the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident occurred Tuesday, at approximately 11:55 a.m. after Bryce Krueger, 23, of Cedar Rapids struck the vehicle of Karen Voss, 69, of Ely while he drove westbound on Highway 30.

Voss was attempting to cross Highway 30 toward Jappa Road. She was cited for “fail to obey stop sign and yield of right away,” according to authorities.

Voss was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital by Area Ambulance Service with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries and Krueger appeared to be uninjured and refused treatment at the scene.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
