Woman who triggered Amber Alert arrested in Sioux City

SIOUX CITY — The Sioux City Journal is reporting that Danica Arzaga, accused of kidnapping three children from Clay County and triggering a statewide Amber Alert on Tuesday, was arrested on Wednesday in Sioux City.

“Accused child abductor, Danica Noel Arzaga, 25, was arrested in Sioux City Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

Sioux City Police Sgt. Jim Cunningham said she was located near the intersection of Outer Drive and Division Street on Sioux City’s northside around 4:15 p.m.”

Earlier today officials confirmed that the Amber Alert had been canceled and the girls had been found safe.
