Canceled: Operation Quickfind: Jack Ritchie

Update, 9 a.m.: The Cedar Rapids Police Department has canceled this Operation Quickfind and Jack Ritchie has returned home.

Previously: The Cedar Rapids Police Department has issued an Operation Quickfind for a 12-year-old boy.

Jack Ritchie is described as being 5’7” and about 93 pounds. He was last seen around 11 p.m. Monday at 1345 18th Ave. SW in Cedar Rapids, wearing a tie-dye sweatshirt, black boots and khaki pants, according to information provided to the media.

Ritchie is medicated for a behavioral diagnosis and may be combative with law enforcement, according to the release.

The Cedar Rapids Police Department is seeking the public’s help locating Ritchie. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Department at (319) 286-5491.
