No injuries reported after early morning fire in Iowa City

The Iowa City Fire Department is investigating an early morning house fire that occurred Sunday.

According to a news release, Firefighters responded at around 1 a.m. to a report of a house on fire at 3010 Cornell Avenue. 

The responding crew found a working fire on the exterior of the duplex extending into the interior portions of the structure, which sixteen firefighters extinguished in approximately 70 minutes. No injuries were reported, according to the release.
