Missouri man pleads guilty to Coralville bank robbery

DAVENPORT– A Missouri man who robbed Bank of the West in Coralville, Iowa, on April 20 has pled guilty to one count of bank robbery in United States District Court on Friday, according to United States Attorney Kevin E. VanderSchel.

According to the Department of Justice, Peter Lundberg, 60, of St. Ann, Missouri, stole approximately $1,080 from the bank, which law enforcement later recovered.

Lundberg faces a maximum prison term of 20 years and up to five years of supervised release as well as a possible $250,000 fine. Sentencing is scheduled for January 8, 2018, at 1 p.m. and a mandatory special assessment of $100 per count will also be imposed.

The Coralville Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted the investigation. This case is being prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Iowa.
