He faces child endangerment, driving while barred charges

CEDAR RAPIDS — A Marion man is accused of leaving his one-year-old child in a Taco Bell parking lot after being involved in a crash.

According to the Linn County Attorney’s Office, on Wednesday, Trevor J. Brickson, 24, was driving and was involved in a collision. Authorities said Brickson pulled his van into Taco Bell, 624 First Ave. NE, left the van there and left the area.

Brickson’s one-year-old child was inside the van when he abandoned the vehicle, authorities said.
