According to the Linn County Attorney’s Office, on Sunday, Cedar Rapids police officers spotted 34-year-old Dustin K. Hoch driving a motorcycle in the 200 block of Wilson Avenue SW.

Officers tried to pull Hoch over, but he instead sped away. Authorities said the chase reached speeds that were 25 mph or more over the posted speed limit.

Hoch was captured and the motorcycle he was operating was found to be stolen. Authorities said Hoch was also carrying a meth pipe and two hypodermic needles. His license is also barred.
