Woman turns herself into Cedar Rapids police regarding theft search

CEDAR RAPIDS — Cedar Rapids police were seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect in a theft case, but the woman in question has since turned herself in.

On Monday, police released images of a suspect believed to be involved in the unauthorized use of a credit card on Dec. 1. The images were taken at a southwest Cedar Rapids retailer.

Authorities issued another release on Monday noting that “Thanks to help from local media, this suspect has turned herself in to police.”
