Cedar Rapids police looking for driver who fled

CEDAR RAPIDS — Cedar Rapids police are looking for a driver who fled from officers.

According to a police department news release, officers attempted to pull over a vehicle in the 700 block of A Avenue NE around 10:49 p.m. Tuesday. Police said the driver refused to pull over and fled.

Police said the driver later crashed the vehicle and fled the scene.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Linn County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-372-7463.
