IOWA CITY — Iowa City police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a possible suspect in a credit card fraud investigation.

Officials distributed two photos Monday of a man they say recently installed credit card skimmers on ATM’s in Iowa City, North Liberty, Coralville and Cedar Rapids, then withdrawing funds using fraudulent cards.

The man was described as a white male, last seen Aug. 25 riding an orange and black mid-2000s model Honda motorcycle.

Iowa City Area CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect. Anyone with information about this crime is urged to contact CrimeStoppers at 358-TIPS.
