Coralville police looking for car burglary suspect

Property valued at $2,000 stolen, authorities say

CORALVILLE — Coralville police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a car burglary suspect.

According to an Iowa City Area Crime Stoppers notification, around 10 a.m. on Sept. 3, a man was seen entering an unlocked vehicle parked between the Cantebury Inn and Casa Azul on First Avenue in Coralville. Police said the man stole property valued at more than $2,000.

The man is described as being 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and approximately 17 to 21 years old.
