IOWA CITY — A Hawk Alert was issued by the University of Iowa Sunday morning for a reported armed robbery on East Market Street.

The Hawk Alert was issued at 2:50 a.m. Sunday. It read: “Hawk Alert: Robbery at gunpoint on east market, 2 suspects last seen north on Lucas, avoid the area. See for info.”

The website no longer lists an active Hawk Alert for the incident, reported less than two hours after a shooting on the Iowa City ped mall that left three people with gunshot wounds.
