Cedar Rapids man accused of abusing 3-year-old child

CEDAR RAPIDS — A Cedar Rapids man is accused of sexually abusing a 3-year-old child.

According to the Linn County Attorney’s Office, the abuse happened on March 12 at a home in Cedar Rapids. An adult witness told Cedar Rapids police that on that day they walked into a living room and saw 21-year-old Jason A. Clark with his hands down the pants of a 3-year-old child.

Authorities said Clark fled the residence before police arrived, but he was later interviewed and admitted to touching the child. Clark was arrested and faces one count of second-degree sexual abuse.
