Authorities investigating stabbing at Iowa State Fair Teen taken into custody following incident Tuesday night

DES MOINES — A man is in stable condition and a teen is in custody following a stabbing Tuesday night at the Iowa State Fair.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, Tay Ronce Denton, 21, was stabbed around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday near the southwest corner of the fairgrounds in Des Moines. His assailant has been identified as Yuri Green, 17, police said. Green faces two counts of willful injury.

Two juveniles also involved in the altercation have been banned from the fair, according to the state patrol.
