UPDATE: Police locate minors involved in Amber Alert

UPDATE, 2:20 p.m.:

The two minors involved in an Amber Alert were located shortly after 2 p.m. Monday, a Denison Police Department dispatcher told The Gazette.

The dispatcher said Beyonce Carrasco, 12, and Rodolfo Penaflor Jr., 13, had no physical injuries.

The dispatcher did not say where the two children were found.

As of 1:30 p.m.

The Iowa Department of Public Safety has issued an Amber Alert for a 12-year-old girl they say was abducted Monday by a 13-year-old boy in Denison.

Denison is in Crawford County in west-central Iowa.

Beyonce Carrasco, 12, was abducted by Rodolfo Penaflor Jr. at about 1:19 p.m. Monday, according to the alert. The two may be in a 2016 white Nissan Sentra.

Carrasco is described as being 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 85 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes and a mole on her nose. She was last seen wearing a dark gray shirt and gray Under Armour shorts.

Penaflor, 13, is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighting 110 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, according to the report.
