MARION — Traffic is flowing again on Marion Boulevard in Marion following a crash that took place around 6:45 p.m. Monday. By 8:20 p.m. the crash site had been cleared, and the roadway was reopened.

According to a reporter near the scene, it appears as if a minivan had struck a tree and that the tree was laying across the road, temporarily blocking at least one lane of traffic.

At the time of the report the minivan appeared to be on it’s side with passengers still inside.

Police said there are no details on possible injuries available.

The road was closed for around an hour and a half near the 100 block of Marion Boulevard.

Authorities were on the scene along with rescue personnel.
