Iowa Red Cross deploys more hurricane response volunteers

The Iowa Red Cross deployed 10 more volunteers this weekend to deal with Tropical Storm Harvey, bringing the total deployment to 20.

The volunteers include four from Eastern Iowa, according to a news release.

David Fellmet of Cedar Rapids and Michael Gee of Iowa City will be focusing on shelter. Janet Fischer of Manchester is assigned to meals, and Tom Hess of Robins is assigned to the fourth emergency response vehicle being sent from Iowa.
