CEDAR RAPIDS — An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday in an ongoing suspicious death investigation.

Cedar Rapids police responded to a welfare check at the Shamrock Apartments, 316 Jacolyn Dr. SW, at 11:21 a.m. Saturday and found 18-year-old AnnaElise M. Edgeton dead inside. Edgeton is a resident of the Shamrock Apartments, said Cedar Rapids public safety spokesman Greg Buelow.

Edgeton’s death is still being treated as suspicious, said Buelow.
