IOWA CITY — The Iowa City Public Library will be asking the city council this week if it can buy a bookmobile.

Bookmobiles are bus-like vehicles that take books to neighborhoods.

The library is planning to ask the council during budget talks this week for $112,000 to buy one of the vehicles, according to KCRG-TV9.
