CEDAR RAPIDS — An event to introduce people to urban living in Cedar Rapids — specifically Czech Village and the New Bohemia District — has been rescheduled to Friday.

Room with a Brew, which was featured in The Gazette on Sept. 20, was postponed due to flooding late last month. It now is to take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. Check in is at The Artisan’s Sanctuary, 45 16th Ave. SW.

The event is the first of its kind in Cedar Rapids. It takes participants on a self-guided walking tour with sneak peaks inside four downtown living spaces and stops at three restaurants. Tickets are $15 a piece or two for $25 and are available at eventbrite.com/e/room-with-a-brew-take-2-tickets-28477628353.
