Taste of Iowa City celebrating 10th anniversary

Event continues until 8 p.m. today

IOWA CITY — Mother Nature may not have cooperated with Monday’s total solar eclipse, but she’s casting a friendly smile on tonight’s Taste of Iowa City event.

With temperatures in the upper 70s, the 10th annual event, hosted by the Iowa City Downtown District and presented by MidWestOne Bank, got underway at 4 p.m. and continues until 8 p.m.

The event aims to highlight the culinary diversity of downtown and northside restaurants.

Tickets are $1 each and will be sold in strips of five until 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available during the event at six ticket booths located in downtown and the Northside Marketplace.
