Steve Ray to speak at parish mission in Cedar Rapids

Talks are Saturday and Sunday at St. Wenceslaus

CEDAR RAPIDS — Steve Ray, a Catholic apologist, documentary producer, Bible teacher and best-selling author, is coming to Cedar Rapids to give talks Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 7-8.

His visit is being coordinated as part of a parish mission by the Immaculate Conception and St. Wenceslaus parishes in Cedar Rapids.

Both talks take place at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, 1224 Fifth St. SE.

The first, at 7 p.m. Saturday is titled “Defending the Eucharist: You Are What You Eat.”

The second, at 2 p.m. Sunday is titled “Mary: Real Girl and Woman of Mystery”

The events are free to the public.

A freewill donation will be taken.
