GALLERY: Easter egg drop in Iowa City

More than 10,000 toy and candy-filled eggs were dropped from a University of Dubuque training helicopter on Saturday as part of the annual Scheels Helicopter Easter Egg Drop at Lower City Park in Iowa City.

Among the 10,000 eggs were two dozen golden eggs to be redeemed for prizes from Scheels, a sporting goods store. The Easter Bunny was also on hand to greet those in attendance.
