Dancing with the Stars show in Ames canceled after tour bus involved in multicar crash

Tonight’s “Dancing with the Stars Live! Light Up The Night” show in Ames, IA was canceled when one of the tour buses transporting cast and crew was involved in a multicar accident this afternoon.

According to the release issued by the Iowa State Center, the bus was en route to Ames, IA when it was involved in a weather related crash, but does not confirm whether it is the same crash on I-35 that involved some 50 vehicles, and included at least one fatality.

The release states that all cast and crew members are fine, and some are recovering from minor injuries.

There will be information on potential refunds or rescheduling of the event at the Stephens Auditorium in Ames, IA soon.
