Police say Marion man's disappearance is suspicious

The disappearance of a Marion man has been deemed suspicious.

Marion police said James A. Booher, 51 was last seen in Cedar Rapids on May 31. An Operation Quickfind was issued for Booher on June 3. Booher’s truck was found abandoned in Cedar Rapids on June 9.

Police said Booher is not believed to be voluntarily missing or that he left the area voluntarily. His disappearance is being considered “involuntary/suspicious” by the police department. The Linn County Sheriff’s Office, Cedar Rapids Police Department and Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation are aiding in the search.
