Madora Louise Jensen, 92, of Williamsburg, died Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg. Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg with visitation beginning at
9 am. Burial: 2:15 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.
Madora was the daughter of the late William and Christine (Trimpe) Heitshusen, born July 2, 1924, in Hilton Township, Iowa County, Iowa. She graduated from Hilton Consolidated School, Conroy, in May 1942.
On Sept. 4, 1949, Madora married Arnold G. Jensen from Luzerne, where they made their home for a time. She was employed at Froning Grain & Lumber in Luzerne and moved to Cedar Rapids, where she worked for 27 years at WMT Radio and TV.
Survivors include her sister, Florence Gardner of Williamsburg; two nephews, Randy (Kathy) Koehn and Kurt (Susan) Koehn, both of Webster; and Jensen nieces and nephews, Alice (Ray) Junge, Daisy Roehr, Carolyn (Larry) Sayers and Wayne (Betty) Tatge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sisters, Alice Heitshusen and Marcella Koehn.
Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg or Iowa City Hospice in memory of Madora.
