Cedar Rapids

Lynnea (Lynn) Mae Hutchins-Clark, 72, of Albia, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 4, 2018, in the Anamosa Care Center after an extended illness.
Lynn was born Oct. 16, 1945, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Violet
(Jackie) and Paul Jensen. Lynn was a hard-working, small-business owner, in addition to having been a supervisor at the Southern Iowa Economic Development Agency in Ottumwa. Lynn's passions included her family, cooking and baking, gardening, and living on her small farm near Albia.
She is survived by her three children, Ronna (Mike) English of Anamosa, Michele (Mark) Eaton of Woodstock, Ga., and Matt Hutchins of Cedar Rapids; two grandsons, Chris (Bailey) English of Des Moines and Josh (Summer) English of Williams; one great-grandson, Axel; two granddaughters, Ashley and Danielle Chase; two great-granddaughters, Autumn and Makayla; two brothers, Butch Jensen and Mark Jensen; and one sister, Karen Jean Patton. She is also survived by her longtime companion and caregiver, Mike Clark.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Daniel Chase.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude and thanks to the staff at the Anamosa Care Center and the Care Initiatives Hospice for the attentive care and support.
Lynn's wishes were for cremation, so there will be no service. Instead, her family will hold a celebration of her life from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 7, at the Rotary Lodge at Wapsipinicon State Park.
Donations can be sent to the Anamosa Care Center activities fund in Lynn's name and will be used to enrich the lives of the residents.
