On Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016, Lois Marguerite Price, 79, took the hand of her dearly departed son, Kirk Charles E. Price, and he walked her through the gates of heaven. Her daily three-mile walk will now include him; her mother, Mary Melinda Falconer; her father, Charles Earl Falconer; the father of her six children, Ernest Marion Price; her brothers, Ronald and Yale Falconer; the love of her life, Glenn Richard Morris; and in her arms will be her beloved grandson, Tobias Price.
Her beautiful face will be missed by many and her legacy will be carried on by her children, Monteen Daniel, Martin Price, Tarrel (Rhonda) Price, Dawn Price and Koya (Gale) Price; and her stepdaughter, Christine (John) Gale; her sisters, Beverlee (Bob) Pruess, Jacqueline (Bebe) Carpenter and Deb (Steve) Morrissey; her dearest friend, June Sanders; her many grandchildren, Dustin, Jeremy (Courtney), Tarrel (Koyya), Melissa, Micah (Tanya), Skylar, David, Winston (Katelyn), Timmy, Mathias, Ashley (Matt), Mitchell (Jessica), Travis (Sylvia) and Ashley; her ever so precious great-grandchildren, Josie, Lexi, Ally, Autumn, Adelaide Rose, MaKaylee, Ryker, Evelyn, Karlee, Kaya, Zoey, Leah, Rayliegh, Charley, Issac and awaiting baby girl Price; and also many nieces and nephews.
Lois lived her life with immense passion, and she loved to love others more than anything else in her life. She will be remembered most for her kindness and the ability to love unconditionally. She will be remembered around Palo for her daily walks so I guess you could say she is famous, too!
So pretty lady, until we meet again "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," we will smile every time we think of you and every time we see your rainbow. You are loved more than you could ever know!
Lois wished not to have a funeral, so in keeping with those wishes we will be having a celebration of life at the Palo United Methodist Church from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016. Please join us in celebrating this magnificent lady.
