Kyle Thomas Janss, 23, of Belle Plaine, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids.
Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, at First Lutheran Church, Belle Plaine, with Pastor Dean Duncan officiating. Burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 10, at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service, Belle Plaine, with a time for sharing at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour before the service Tuesday at the church.

Kyle was born April 19, 1993, to Scott and Jane (Haggenjos) Janss. He graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 2011 and then moved to Colorado, where he loved the mountains.
He enjoyed music, reading and developed a passion for writing music.
He always will be remembered as Scott's little bull, with his deep raspy voice and a free spirit who danced to his own tune.
Kyle is survived by his parents, Scott and Jane Janss of Belle Plaine; brothers, Justin Janss of Belle Plaine, Brandon (Kourtney) Janss of Swisher, Chris (Alivia Buch) Janss of Marion and Bryce Janss of Belle Plaine; sister, Taylor Janss of Belle Plaine; grandmother, Delores Janss of Belle Plaine; and many more loving family and friends.
