Elvin "Bud" Gienapp, 94,
of Manchester, passed away Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Vera Gienapp of Manchester; his three children, Jim (Anne) Gienapp of Bonita Springs, Fla., Joyce (Steve) DeFrance of Mason City and Rick (Barb) Gienapp of Iowa City; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Manchester with the Rev. David Weber officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the church. Inurnment: Oakland Cemetery, Manchester. Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester is assisting the family.
