Beverly was born Aug. 10, 1926, to CG (Neil) and Flossie Hover. She married Richard Beaty on Jan. 10, 1946. Bev and Dick had a full and varied life together. Bev was "Mrs. B." to hundreds of Scouts and they knew the door always was open. Bev and Dick worked the Cedar Rapids-area theaters together and then traveled the U.S. for Nelson Watering Systems. They had many friends whom they considered family along the way. "Give me a tank of gas and the open road and you by my side" said it all.
