Ann was preceded in death by her son, Steven Ray; her parents; two brothers, Art and Leo Nieland; and three sisters, Dorothy Kraus, Mary Beckley and Charlotte Morris.
Ann was a homemaker while raising her children and then began cleaning houses and businesses. She enjoyed roller skating, drawing, bowling, playing bingo, crocheting, fishing and spending time with her family. As most of you know, she had a great love of hats, collecting Christmas bows and was a devout Catholic.
Ann and Lyle lived in many places over their years together such as Marion, Central City and New Hampton. And then in Hastings, Minn., and finally in West Salem, Wis. She had a heart of gold and welcomed everyone into her home wherever she lived.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Ann's memory.
