If you were lucky enough to experience Emanuel Ax’s artistry in April, Orchestra Iowa is bringing another award-winning pianist to the Corridor. Grammy-nominated pianist and Van Cliburn silver medalist Joyce Yang joins Orchestra Iowa to perform Rachmaninoff’s “Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.” A Juilliard graduate, she is in demand with symphonies around the world. The concert programming also includes Shostakovich’s “Tahiti Trot,” Khachaturian’s “Sabre Dance” and Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 5.
