Rhubarb Fest

Celebrate all things rhubarb at this festival in Amana. The day includes a rhubarb wine competition, a junior baking challenge, bake sale, rhubarb for sale, rhubarb history and more.

Shrimp Boil

Main Street Washington is boiling up a feast for this downtown shrimp boil. Tickets include food and lemonade, and people are welcome to bring their own beer or wine, along with lawn chairs or blankets. The meal will be accompanied by live music on the bandstand, followed by a free screening of “The Princess & The Frog” at 8:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit Main Street Washington.

Chocolate Stroll

Spend a sweet Saturday in Mount Vernon during the Chocolate Stroll. Enjoy cocoa-infused treats from vendors and local businesses while browsing downtown Mount Vernon’s shops. Along with live music, the day will feature children’s activities, including a Willy Wonka-inspired golden ticket contest.

Marion BBQ Rendezvous

Round up your taste buds for this barbecue smorgasbord. Multiple vendors will serve ribs, sandwiches, nachos and more. The day also includes live music, children’s activities, and libations. Admission is free, with tickets for food and drink available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit the Miracle Field at Prospect Meadows.

The Class Act’s World Culinary Tour: Croatia

Join the Class Act restaurant at The Hotel at Kirkwood Center for a culinary journey around the world.
