Wilma Jean Hansen, 84, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, July 11, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital. Funeral
services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Brosh Chapel, 2121 Bowling St. SW, Cedar Rapids, where a visitation will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Wilma was born Oct. 20, 1929, in Hartley, Iowa, to Daniel and Gladys (Freezner) Morrison. She married Fred P. Hansen in rural Tipton on horseback. Wilma worked at Wilson Foods/Farmstead Foods for over 35 years until it closed. She then worked at Hy-Vee on Wilson Avenue for 15 years.
Wilma is survived by her son, HoBee (Brenda) of Cedar Rapids; stepchildren, Susan (Andy) Hamilton of Brighton, Colo., and Steven Hansen; grandchildren, Nickalos Hansen and Jennifer Hansen; stepgrand-children, Troy Dauen-baugh, Justin (Wendy) Dauenbaugh, Andrea (Antonine) Hamilton, Chad Hansen, Joy Hansen and Jeremy Hansen; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Lou Lint of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings, Lamont Morrison, Maryann Lane and James Morrison.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
