Get involved with Iowa Ideas 2017

    Dec 16, 2016 at 11:45 am

Thank you for your interest in this first-time, statewide, experience! We know that big ideas exist in all industries, and across all corners of Iowa.

Your perspective and involvement will help elevate Iowa Ideas. Here are a few ways to get involved:

Join our email list and send to a friend. Sign up using the form on this page and make sure to select the topics that most interest you. We'll occasionally share updates on upcoming events, thought-provoking ideas, and additional ways to get involved - it's the best way to stay current with Iowa Ideas. You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter and help spread the word there.

Nominate yourself or someone else to be a speaker. We are seeking keynotes, speakers and panelists for both the symposiums and the main conference. You can nominate yourself, or someone else who is worthy of recognition. Note: not all speakers must be from Iowa, so think big: Who inspires you? Find the brief nomination form here.

Help us reach diverse groups. We want to make sure Iowa Ideas is open and accessible to people with different backgrounds and different points of view. Are there organizations we should reach out to and invite? Can you make a connection? Let us know at iowaideas@thegazette.com. We also have a scholarship program, in hopes that cost is not a barrier for anyone to attend Iowa Ideas.

Be an advisor and advocate: Are you an Iowa-based leader in one of our seven topic areas? Help us bring Iowa Ideas to reality and make sure we have high-quality programming throughout. Advisors and advocates can help by reviewing and providing feedback on potential sessions and speakers, spreading the word about Iowa Ideas, helping to facilitate conversations and more. If you are interested in being an advisor, contact iowaideas@thegazette.com and let us know which topic you are most interested in.

Be a sponsor: Multiple sponsorship levels and opportunities are available. If your organization is interested in learning more about sponsoring Iowa Ideas, contact Kelly Buchanan: kelly.buchanan@thegazette.com

Other ideas? Let us know how you'd like to be involved: iowaideas@thegazette.com.
