A Naperville man earned his fifth drunken driving arrest Sunday morning.

Vincent J. Anderson is also accused of trying to run from police and having marijuana in his pocket.

According to Iowa City police criminal complaints, an officer pulled over Anderson, 33, at 1:20 a.m. after spotting him driving with no headlights on. Police said after talking to Anderson, he tried to run on foot and was "promptly caught." However, when officers nabbed him, one of them suffered a cut to his hand. Anderson admitted to fleeing the scene because he doesn't have a license and had marijuana on him. Police said they found a gram of marijuana in Anderson's pocket, along with a metal one-hitter.

Anderson was arrested and faces charges of drunken driving - third or subsequent offense, interference with official acts causing bodily injury, possession of marijuana - third or subsequent offense, providing false identification and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said Anderson has two prior convictions for possession of a controlled substance and four prior convictions for drunken driving.
