RuffaloCODY acquires Colorado research, analysis firm

The Austen Group of Eagle, Colo. to be known as a RuffaloCODY company

RuffaloCODY of Cedar Rapids on Friday said it has acquired the Austen Group of Eagle, Colo., a privately owned research company that serves colleges and universities.

Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.

Founded in 1998, the Austen Group provides institutional research and analysis in the areas of curriculum and cost, inquiry to enroll, and retention. The organization also generates the Austen Sports Index – a data-driven analysis to maximizing the value of an institution’s sports program.

John Baird, president of RuffaloCODY's enrollment management division, said the two companies have been partners for many years.

"We trust their expertise and analytical approach to enrollment challenges," Baird said. "Joining our two organizations makes sense and will provide an even stronger resource for our clients."

RuffaloCODY provides fundraising and enrollment management services to more than 900 colleges, universities and not-for-profit organizations. The privately owned company has more than 500 full-time employees throughout the United States, Canada and Australia.

The Austen Group will be known as a RuffaloCODY company.
