Abortion kills thousands; where's the outrage?

It is a continuum. Life begins when the sperm penetrates the ovum and you have the start of a newborn. Do not misunderstand me. I sympathize with the people who have lost their loved ones in the horrible tragedy of Dec. 14 when a young man entered the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., to slay the children, the teachers and himself.

What bothers me considerably is that President Barack Obama cannot see the tragedy of the Obamacare mandate to finance with our tax dollars, or any dollars, {an agency of} the abortion industry. Why is a life that is only a few moments old any less valuable than a life that is 12 years old or 27 years old?

A Dec. 27 article by Janice Shaw Crouse of the Washington Times (“Planned Parenthood think tank inflates abortion numbers”) states that according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there were 825,564 abortions in 2008 under the auspiciousness of planning your family or as an issue of woman’s health. Who is crying for these individuals who are simply washed down the toilet?

Obama and (Secretary of Agriculture) Tom Vilsack are up in arms about a need for gun control. I do not have numbers for 2012, but I do not think they will be much less than those for 2008 when more of our children were lost per day than what were lost in that one day in Newtown.
