Mark McMahon (see photo) was named head golf professional at Ellis Golf Course in Cedar Rapids. McMahon was previously head golf professional at Waveland Golf Course in Des Moines.

Jesselyn Racine (see photo) joined RecBob in Cedar Rapids as color commentator, doing public relations.

Amy Geiger (see photo) joined Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids as director of Donor Development for the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center. Geiger previously was executive director for Camp Fire USA, Iowana Council.


Woodruff Companies, based in Ames, promoted Nick Ford (see photo) to east regional president. He will be in the Iowa City office.

Jodi Booth (see photo) was promoted to vice president, real estate marketing manager, with Hills Bank and Trust Co. in Coralville. Booth had been first vice president, real estate marketing manager.

Michael Dufoe (see photo) was promoted to principal project manager with Hall & Hall Engineers in Hiawatha. Dufoe was previously project engineer.


The Area Substance Abuse Council board of directors elected officers for 2013: Mark Zaiger (see photo), Shuttleworth & Ingersoll; Hesta Stoffel, Mount Mercy University, (vice president); Nancylee Ziese, Kirkwood Community College, secretary; and Nancy Lowenberg, US Bank, treasurer. Elected to ASAC’s board of directors were Jeff Brooks, ALCOA; Jeff Gleason, AEGON Global Technology; Jeff Lara, US Bank; Emily Logan, Kirkwood Community College; Bill Peart, Union Pacific Railroad; and Jason Vestweber, Skogman Realty.

Holmes Murphy & Associates, with an office in Cedar Rapids, named senior vice president and shareholder Mike Foley (see photo) as a board member.
