'The Mike Hlas Podcast' talks Ryder Cup with Zach Johnson's dad

My guest is Dave Johnson of Cedar Rapids, the father of PGA Tour star Zach Johnson.

With the Ryder Cup this week in suburban Chicago, I sought some insights on the event from Dave. He went to Ireland in 2006 and Wales in 2010 to see Zach compete for the U.S. in those Ryder Cups, and will be headed to Medinah this week to do likewise. As will I.

Dave compared Ryder Cup crowds to those at European soccer matches, calling the atmosphere “awesome.” It was awesome of him to take some time to share his thoughts about the event and Zach’s stellar 2012 season.
