Cedar Rapids police released surveillance photos of an armed robbery at a liquor store, with hopes that the public can identify the suspects.

Point Liquor and Tobacco, 4107 Center Point Rd. NE, was robbed for the second time in seven months on April 12. Two men were arrested for the first hold-up and remain in jail. No one was injured in either incident.

In the most recent robbery, police said two men entered the business separately around 11:30 p.m., but both participated in the robbery. One suspect pointed a handgun at one of two employees that were in the store and demanded money. They took a bottle of liquor and an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The two suspects ran north from the store.

Complete descriptions of the suspects were not available.

Anyone with information about the identity of either suspect is asked to call Linn County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-CS-CRIME (272-7463) or send a text message to CRIMES (274637) with 5227 in the message or subject field along with the tip. Rewards are possible if the information leads to an arrest.
